… stop! There is no such thing.
The strategist, the implementer and the coach do not meet. The strategist develops great ideas (A in the success triangle) and disappears. Then the implementer (B) comes along and implements the idea or something else. And at some point the coach (C) comes along and realizes that people are not supporting the new idea and tries to “fix” it ex-post.
It was always like this, it will always be like this …
We say: no. We suggest taking the relationship level into account as early as the strategy and implementation process. People bring new ideas, different perspectives, a breath of fresh air and a lot of energy. People are just as good at putting the brakes on, blocking and sitting things out.
Let’s use strategy development and implementation to strengthen teams and companies. And to tap into sustainable sources of energy at the relationship level and achieve great things.
Let’s use the success triangle early on – and not when it’s too late.
