The basis of our coaching is the systemic perspective. People, managers, teams and organizations are, but above all: they behave, communicate and interact.
It is these interdependencies that we look at with you, where we help you to uncover deeply rooted patterns. And where we help you to bring about lasting changes in your patterns of interaction and communication.
How does the process itself work? Well, several things are particularly important to us in the process – an initial meeting with formulation of an initial coaching assignment, continuous review of the assignment and your autonomy.
Order clarification
We always start a coaching journey with a non-binding and confidential initial consultation. This is where we lay the foundation for our coaching partnership.
You can expect this in the initial consultation:
1️⃣ Understanding your situation: We talk openly about your challenges, wishes and visions. We gain a comprehensive understanding of you, your situation and your challenges.
2️⃣ Exploring your goals: Together we explore and clarify your overarching goals and define the specific outcomes you want from our coaching – your mission. This guides our work and ensures a meaningful and effective coaching process.
3️⃣ Organizational matters: We discuss practical issues such as frequency, duration and timing of meetings and other matters.
4️⃣ Designing the journey: Finally, we outline the roadmap for your coaching journey. We discuss the approaches, techniques and strategies we will use to support you on your path to success.
Note: we also make it clear in the initial meeting that your coaching process is strictly confidential. We clarify how we deal with “triangular situations”, i.e. situations that affect the client (your boss, your company), you and us.
The continuous sharpening of orders
Clarifying and sharpening the assignment – starting in the initial meeting – will accompany us throughout the coaching process. We do not presume to really understand what is going on inside you, we do not form premature hypotheses about “what is going on” and “what we need to fix”.
We believe that this approach is highly effective, releases your inner autonomy and can help you to overcome fears and anxieties. We create the basis for you to achieve success: personally, professionally or as a team or organization.
Your and your autonomy
Why does my coach tell me I can only help myself? I pay a lot of money, don’t I?
We believe that real, sustainable change can only come from the systems, from the people themselves. Recommendations or advice – “do it this way or that way” – almost always lead to cementing the existing situation. And if something changes, then it is not sustainable.
Neuroscientific findings show that lasting changes in satisfaction, balance, energy and much more are very possible. The prerequisite is that we work on ourselves from the inside out. We need to have a deep understanding of the connections between our needs, feelings and behavior in order to change our patterns from the inside out.
Our coaches will guide you on this path. Similar to a good fitness trainer, our coaches will show you which exercises and approaches you can use to strengthen yourself and achieve what you are aiming for.
But just like a fitness trainer, a good coach can’t do the work for you. The real growth and change takes place within yourself. The coach is there to support you, give you feedback and guide your progress. Ultimately, however, it is up to you to take the necessary steps and help yourself.
That’s why our coaches are right: only you can change. Our coaches are by your side to help you navigate, support and guide you. And that should be worth the money you pay them.
Otherwise: look for another coach!
Does this have a business case?
Do you want to be successful with a team of 50 satisfied colleagues or fail with 100 dissatisfied colleagues?
I often see the latter. Coaching with real, sustainable change can be your key tool to move to the former and therefore has a real business case.
- Firstly, training, team and individual coaching improve employee satisfaction and efficiency. This leads to more energy and fun, better decision making and better performance, which has a direct impact on the bottom line.
- Secondly, coaching harmonizes team dynamics and aligns everyone involved with your goals. The economic benefit is reduced turnover and improved operational efficiency, both of which lead to savings and increased revenue.
- Finally, individual coaching promotes the personal development of managers, which in turn contributes to the success of the company. Managers who have undergone coaching are better able to make strategic decisions, manage their teams efficiently and lead their companies to long-term profitability.
A comprehensive coaching approach leads to sustainable growth and profitability. It is not just an expense, but an investment with high earnings potential.
