Team coaching – form high-performance teams with energy, focus and stability

Form high-performing teams with a holistic view

New team? New management team? Lack of clarity, internal tensions and conflicts? Is the team or management team going through a difficult phase and you want to strengthen it for the future? Form a high-performing team, a so-called “high-performance team“, or a high-performing management team, with lots of energy, focus and stability. With high motivation, good cooperation and appreciative, clear communication, low fluctuation and strong cohesion as well as fun and satisfaction?

Team coaching helps you to grow together as a team, build trust and sustainably improve your performance. We help you to understand your current dynamics, remove any blockages (elephants in the room?) and create a strong culture of collaboration that is fun.

What is the aim of our team coaching?

Our team coaching and leadership development services have a clear objective. We help you to turn your team into a high-performance team with energy, focus and stability. It’s about more than just working better together, but also, for example:

  • Build trust: Create a “Circle of Safety” where team members communicate openly and feel safe to make mistakes.
  • Solve conflicts constructively: Learn how to use conflicts as an opportunity as a team – without letting them put a strain on collaboration.
  • Strengthen responsibility: Promote a culture where every team member takes responsibility – without micromanagement.
  • Develop clear goals: Sharpen and clarify goals; develop optimal procedures (processes, communication, decision-making) for this with the team. If necessary, identify and deal with conflicts between individual goals and team goals.
  • Creating convincing visions and strategies: primarily for management teams or teams that are responsible for this
  • Create commitment: Get the team to share the common goals and priorities.
  • Optimize cooperation: Clarification and optimization of the organization (who does what), interfaces (internal, external) and processes (operational, communication, decision-making)
  • Improve results measurably: Set clear success indicators and track progress to ensure sustainable change.

Depending on requirements, we focus our joint work more on the group dynamic aspects or also on “hard topics” such as strategy development, organization, processes, decision-making and much more. The corporate objective must always be pursued – team coaching and team development are not an end in themselves.

Which teams is our team coaching intended for?

Team coaching is crucial for every team and every management team – whether newly formed, established or in crisis. It is particularly relevant for:

  • Management teams: Management teams in companies that want to develop clarity, trust and good cooperation and lead the teams and the company to success.
  • Management teams and operational teams with conflicts: When tensions or unresolved conflicts put a strain on cooperation.
  • Newly formed operational teams: If you are new to working together as a team and want to quickly establish a basis of trust.
  • Established teams of any kind: If you want to optimize your collaboration (processes, communication, decision-making, etc.) and develop more energy and focus.
  • Teams undergoing change: during restructuring, new strategies or growth phases.
  • Virtual or hybrid teams: To strengthen collaboration across distances.

What are the benefits of our team coaching?

Our team coaching is designed to strengthen your team in the long term. It’s about more than “just” better communication, but about growing together, overcoming challenges and being successful in the long term.

Typical results of our team coaching are

  • More clarity and focus: You define common goals and priorities – and stick to them.
  • Stronger communication: You learn to communicate constructively and appreciatively – even on difficult topics.
  • Trust and psychological safety: You create a space in which team members feel safe, can communicate their views openly and mistakes are seen as an opportunity to learn.
  • Effective conflict resolution: You develop strategies to resolve conflicts constructively – without them putting a strain on your team.
  • More energy and motivation: You create a culture in which all team members are motivated to give their best.
  • Sustainable team culture: You develop shared values and behaviors that strengthen your team in the long term.

This creates a positive working atmosphere in which your employees feel valued and can make the most of their skills. The result? A strong team that works with passion and enthusiasm, achieves its goals and surpasses itself!

Of course, as explained above, we also moderate “hard topics” such as strategy development, reorganization, process sharpening, etc.

How does team coaching work?

Our team coaching is not a standard program, but is individually tailored to your team and your goals.

That’s why we always start with a discussion with the manager(s). We want to understand the background, the history of the team, your current situation and challenges. And of course: what are your goals – qualitatively and quantitatively?

We use scientifically based tools to analyze team dynamics, such as the Kets de Vries Institute’s Team Compass with global benchmarking and calibration.

On this basis, we develop a tailor-made concept for you with steps such as workshops, team coaching or regular reflection sessions. This can take the form of a one-off intervention, over several stages (6-12 months) or in the form of longer-term support.

We support the managers of the teams during implementation through regular check-ins or coaching sessions. Together, we continuously check what has worked reliably and where adjustments are still necessary.

What methods and interventions do we use in team coaching?

Our team coaching is based on many years of practical experience and is scientifically sound (e.g. group dynamics models, concepts of rank dynamics, theories of communication, conflict and motivation, etc.).

We use a variety of approaches to strengthen your team. You can find a complete overview here.

Examples of interventions include

  • Team dynamics analysis: We analyze the dynamics of your team in order to identify the specific challenges facing your team and address them in a targeted manner.
  • Communication training: You learn to communicate clearly and respectfully – even on difficult topics.
  • Conflict management and mediation: We use jointly established and effective methods for conflict resolution to strengthen cooperation and create the ability to act.
  • Clarifying goals and roles: You define common goals and clarify the roles in the team. This will help you avoid misunderstandings and increase the team’s effectiveness.
  • Feedback culture: You develop a culture of regular and appreciative feedback. This helps to continuously improve cooperation and increase the motivation of team members.
  • Building trust: Exercises and reflection sessions help you to strengthen trust within the team. This is the basis for open and effective cooperation.

The measures selected for your concept will help you to develop your team optimally and achieve your qualitative and quantitative goals.

One example of systematic team development is our team coaching curriculum. We will always adapt this in practice to your situation and needs.
