In our executive coaching, you will receive precise, individual support that is tailored to your specific situation. We are a team of executive coaches, each with at least 20 years of leadership experience, including in large teams. Our aim is to help you analyze your leadership skills, set priorities and further develop the skills that are important to you. This leads to more energy, stability and focus.
What is the range of leadership skills that can be addressed in coaching?
Depending on the situation, we work with C-level executives in executive coaching on networking and organizational leadership skills. Team leadership skills are relevant at all management levels, from C-level to team leader. Finally, competencies in the area of self-management are a relevant and frequently addressed topic at all hierarchical levels. See the illustration above.
We like to use the dimensions of kdvi’s Global Executive Leader Mirror (see illustration) with our clients to determine the position of the individual manager. This tool is comprehensive, focused on corporate goals and success, scientifically based, contains 360° benchmarking and provides insights into the deeper background of thinking and behavior (psychodynamics).
By developing these skills, you will develop more calm, stability and security and strengthen your effectiveness as well as your ability to act and make decisions. All of this in the context of the business situation – coaching is not an end in itself, but should contribute to your success, including your business success.
Who is our management coaching for?
Coaching is a highly efficient and very effective method for developing leadership strength along the above-mentioned leadership competencies, and is therefore actually relevant for every company and many managers.
Typical examples for which we are asked are
- New and experienced managers who want to strengthen their effectiveness and confidence.
- Managers in management teams undergoing change (strategic/structural changes, growth, turnaround, post-merger).
- Managers who want to build, stabilize or scale high-performance teams.
- Team leaders in critical situations. Support for conflict resolution and team stabilization.
- Managers whose leadership role changes with their success and advancement – from manager to leader, from leader to leader-of-leaders, to C-level executive
- Managers who want to strengthen and improve their public image (externally, upwards, towards customers)
- …
What are the benefits of our management coaching?
We are convinced that executive coaching enables focused and highly efficient development in the competencies described above and shown in the illustration. Typical examples of how you can measure progress in coaching are
- Clarity and focus in your role: You make good decisions faster, prioritize consistently and noticeably gain energy for the essentials.
- Self-management & sovereignty under pressure: You recognize triggers (fight/flight/freeze), manage energy & stress and remain capable of acting – even in difficult phases.
- Effective conversations & conflict competence: You conduct critical conversations clearly and appreciatively – with clean decisions and less friction (impulses in the area of communication & training).
- Leadership presence & trust: You create a “Circle of Safety” – closeness and commitment in which responsibility is assumed(approach & success factors).
- Consistency & authenticity: You combine ambition and humanity – because appreciation and performance are interdependent.
We believe in measurable progress – targets, micro-routines, regular reviews – so the business case of your coaching becomes visible.
What are our management coaching methods?
We see ourselves as a catalyst and mirror and do not “teach” from above. We support you in combining high performance with respect, appreciation and trust, and work in partnership with the credo: strengthen leadership, not replace leadership. In this way, we pursue the clear goal of creating more motivation, energy, focus and effectiveness and thus contributing to the company’s success – also in economic terms.
We practise specific discussion formats and develop routines that will strengthen you as a leader. In focused, practice-oriented sessions, we tackle blockages and saboteurs. This will enable you to develop sustainable strategies for self-control and stress regulation so that you can act with confidence again instead of just reacting. We work consistently on the transfer to everyday life – short iterations, exercises and routines that take immediate effect in day-to-day management.
>Our coaches have 20 years of real leadership experience in large teams and organizations – including at C-level – and combine this with modern, scientifically based approaches – pragmatic, focused and scientifically sound (including transactional analysis, ego-state approaches). We use a variety of specific approaches to strengthen leadership and therefore also your teams. You can find a complete overview here.
Exemplary focal points
Here are some examples of the different focal points of our management coaching work:
- Determining your current position and goals: gaining personal clarity about where you want to go – both privately and professionally; 360° view of your role, impact and team context. Joint clarification of ambitions, development goals and success indicators.
- Self-leadership & emotional sovereignty: Stay calm when it matters; understand your own triggers (fight/flight/freeze), control inner dynamics, lead consistently – because without self-leadership, leadership cannot succeed.
- Communication & conflict competence: achieving safety, clarity, calm and strength in communication and conflict; Circle of Safety learn to communicate passionately and appreciatively, delegate and make decisions effectively.
- Leading in a team context: Helping the team to build trust, clarity of roles and decisions, to find a common goal and meaning; thus ensuring as a manager that performance and cooperation systematically improve.
- Performance & culture in balance: Actively shaping culture as a manager and thus enabling high performance in the first place; anchoring appreciation as a performance lever;

What can executive coaching look like in concrete terms?
The basis of our management coaching is certainly individual 1:1 coaching – confidential, effective, focused on specific management issues. We also use tools such as on-the-job support (Silent Observer) so that our management coaching can have an even greater impact where it counts. For some of our clients, we also use peer learning in small groups in order to learn better from each other on leadership topics and broaden perspectives.
Coaching takes place remotely and on sitein German/English/French – depending on requirements and the chosen coach. The duration varies between a short intervention (a compact sprint, so to speak) and a development journey lasting several months – the timing is flexible.
